Last week my girlfriends from the ward threw me a bridal shower. There were about 20people there and we had a great time laughing, talking, eating A LOT of food and enjoying each other.
My good friend Ciera organized it and had a fun surprise--a video of Bobby talking about our relationship. One day I'll have to chronicle the beginnings of our dating, because we've both fessed up to the fact that after our first date, neither of us would have pursued this relationship under normal circumstances. But, thank goodness for fate, inspiration or whatever you'd call it, because neither of us listened to ourselves but decided we needed to give it a try.
I received some wonderful gifts from the ladies, some wonderful words of advice and some great memories. I'm going to miss my friends from the ward when I move; they've offered a lot of love, support and great times together.
