Ruby has started trying to pull herself up on things the last few days. She gets to her knees and then can't get any further, which leads to a lot of frustration on her part. We'll sit on the couch and she'll crawl over with a big grin on her face and try to pull up and join us. Only she can't. Then she gets mad. She hangs onto the couch and says, "Rrrrrrr" and if that doesn't get us to help her then she cries. That'll usually get her what she wants.
She's so cute to watch though. Her little face gets scrunchy and then the thumb finds its way to her mouth. There's nothing the thumb can't fix.

I ran across your blog and found it to be so inspiring. My husband and I are expecting our first child in April. Ruby is adorable beyond words and always smiling. I wish you and your family well. I hope you don't mind me following your blog.
